Info Post
By Rob Sutter

LinkedIn is loaded to the brim with content, much of it in the form of published articles that users submit. While you can create your own articles, whether they're related to your work, industry news, or what have you, getting others to read them is another story. How can you improve your content views, you may wonder? The following methods are among the most effective when it comes to achieving Long Island advertising success of the highest level.

One of the ways to improve your LinkedIn content engagement is by focusing on a variety of topics. Just because you work in a specific industry doesn't mean that your articles have to be rigid. You can focus on different stories that tie back to your professional life, whether it's a failure you suffered early on, some of your favorite publications, or what have you. Variety is the spice of life, so make it a prominent aspect of your LinkedIn content, too.

Even if you have solid content to publish, this alone won't lead to views and engagement. To ensure results, make note of when your content goes live. If you were to publish an article during an early Monday morning, you may not have as many people reading since it's early in the week and they aren't as attentive. However, if you target the middle of the week for posting, your chances of reaching people will increase.

Perhaps the most important thing to know about LinkedIn, in regard to content or otherwise, is that networking is vital. In fact, it's possible that people aren't reading your work due to a low level of activity on your end. Stay engaged in what your connections post or share. Offer your thoughts on their stories. By staying involved on LinkedIn, you'll be able to stay at the forefront of their minds, which will benefit your content by proxy.

For those that have been publishing content on LinkedIn but seeing little in the way of results, you shouldn't be deterred. The information provided earlier will allow you to get your content out to more people, increasing engagement in the process. There's a good chance that those that read your articles may want to reach out to learn more. LinkedIn is the biggest social media platform for professionals, so take full advantage of it.
